Good, Bad & Ugly
This section is called The Good, Bad and Ugly and is a compendium of my personal preferences and prejudices. You will find places, products and services I think are outstanding as well as products or services that I have had personal experiences with that were less than satisfactory.

If you are traveling south on I25 and need a place to overnight your horses Spur Stables are the best! A client of mine who lives in Tucson turned me on to them. I travel twice a year to the White Stallion Guest Ranch in Tucson to do clinics with Frank Bell. It's a two day trip and I stop in Albuquerque. Those of you who know mw, know that I am not always the most punctual person and I often leave and arrive late. No matter how late I am, MJ Garcia is always there with a welcoming smile and clean pens for the horses with good hay. Sometimes there is even a gift of home made banana bred when you leave if she hasn't been too busy. They also have an apartment you can rent right on the premises. prices (spring of 2010)are $25 per horse and $40 to overnight in the apartment. Tell MJ I sent you, it won't get either one of us a better price, but it's always nice to know where your business is coming from. It's the best!
